Common Daisy
The members of this group are wild flower enthusiasts ranging from raw beginners to experienced botanists.
We meet up and amble or saunter at a very slow pace as we are looking in detail at what is around us, spotting and identifying wild flowers both common and rare.
Our ambles/saunters take place from April to September.
Occasionally we break from wild flowers to identify non-flowering plants such as mosses, liverworts, lichens and mushrooms.
New members are always welcome. Please note that some places we visit are muddy or rocky so sturdy footwear is advised.
Group members receive details of each walk about a week beforehand.
