Walks will probably take 5 to 7 hours to complete so we are out for a full day. Walks tend to average 10 miles in length so they may be a little more and they may be a little less. It isn’t all heather bashing but, as the name suggests, from time to time do expect some rough country.
This is a cheerful group with members who are not just mile-bagging ground pounders. There is always a feature to see, a story to tell, a point of view to understand.
We walk in Teesdale and its adjacent dales but also go further afield, particularly when the days are longer.
