Teesdale U3A French Conversation Group was formed in March 2015.
We are not a teaching group. Our aim is simply to speak French. We can listen to tapes and read books at home, but the most difficult part of learning a language is the speech.
We are very fortunate to have a French national and 4 others who have improved fluency through living abroad. The rest of us muddle along enjoying the opportunity of having a go! We inspire one another.
Topics have included French Food, French Geography, Paris, the Regions of France, the news and Europe. Fluency levels vary. Everyone is encouraged to have a go, so if you can speak a little French, please come along.
